Tony is a TAB (test and balance)-certified and commissioning professional, with over a decade of engineering, commissioning, testing and leadership experience. Over the last several years, His experience working in new and existing buildings includes healthcare, airports, military and government facilities, high-rise buildings, clean rooms, data centers, bio-research, institutional, and many other commercial structures. He specializes in commissioning, test and balance, smoke control testing, and fire life safety. As a co-owner of Farrington Air Quality Services, Tony applies his knowledge and experience to execute his projects with quality, skill, and excellent service.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE 

Madigan Hospital; Tacoma, Washington

Performed control start up on 3500+ single duct and dual duct VAV boxes. Set up Metasys DDC Controls system in preparation for TAB. Also worked alongside Electricians to make sure all VAV’s were wired correctly and by performing point to point verification. Executed all functional performance test for all VAV’s throughout the entire Hospital. 

Tacoma General Hospital Campus, Tacoma, Washington

Performed TAB verification, all AHU, chillers, pump, and exhaust fan point to point verification. VAV point to point and functional performance testing, wrote and submitted site reports and updated issues logs. Also performed Fire Alarm, lighting control and daylighting operational/ functional testing. Other tasks were to assist the sr. commissioning agent with AHU functional performance testing and input data into data management system.

VA Hospital, Seattle, Washington Test and Balance

TAB Technician for this 3-story chilled beam air and water balance project. He created and updated issues logs, writing daily technical report. Tony provided troubleshooting of mechanical items, resolving, as necessary. He also effectively communicated to contractors or owners’ representatives effectively.
